    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AlchemistPhD had just returned to Albany, New York, from a New Year's vacation and was greeted with about 10 inches of snow that had fallen the previous few days. 'Luckily, the temperature had warmed up enough to produce some beautiful icicles hanging from the roof.'
