I am a British expat foreign correspondent who has lived in LA since the 60's. LAPD is the BEST trained police force in the World ! I have lived in many countries but I have NEVER seen such efficient cops that get the BAD guys and lock em up as fast as LAPD !

I used to watch this show and loved every moment of it. My Son used to cruise Van Nuys Blvd when it was popular and safe and a great meeting place for young folk to enjoy and show off their rides.Young ladies rarely swore and most teens behaved themselves and enjoyed the great lifestyles that made Southern California the BEST place on he Planet to live! Thanks partly to the serve and protect efficiencies and dedication of the LAPD who kept the streets of LA clean an safe !

That was back in the 60's and W70's before the crips & bloods and the Mexican and other latino gangs began turf wars turned many neighborhoods into dangerous barrios and started shooting innocent people, including kids all over the place. The ONLY people who could STOP these armed, crazy thugs were the LAPD and STOP them in their tracks they did with passion and vengeance ! They cleaned up the violent streets of LA ! That was then...this is now before extremely deadly gangs like MS! who cover themselves from head to toe in ugly tats because they think it makes the macho...enter the US from latin countries and commit any and every crime imaginable against the ciitizens of LA. One of the prerequisites to become a member of these atrocious excuses for humans is to kill a member of another gang ! This is also MS13's way, they think, of preventing law enforcement undercover infiltration......they are WRONG !
As a result of the horrific turmoil in LA that turned the cities streets into hell holes and places of fear...NY's Supercop Bill Bratton was brought in to clean up the garbage like he did with NY's ZERO TOLERANCE attitude of the NYPD.....it worked NY is now a very safe place compared to what it was and so is most of LA ! Bratton confirmed what those of us in the media have known all along...a good and efficient police force is the ONLY remedy to crime and finding the RIGHT cop to lead is the answer! Bill Bratton is that cop and a rarity at that !

British bobbies don't scare today's violent scumbags !

These days in Britain, unfortunately for the vast majority of decent, hard working British people and thanks in great part to the policies of the previous and present governments and parliament hwo always put the British people LAST......the UK has now become like Mogadishu or the Baltics, because of the EU and the lax immigration policies of labor and the conservatives and the constant interference in Britain's internal affairs by Brussels......millions of undesirable trash have invaded the country.You only have to read the British dailies like the Daily Mail, the telegraph and the Guardian, Britain has gone from a pleasant, beautiful villages and land scape place to live and visit to a trash heap where the young binge on alchohol and drugs and fight around pubs then lie in the street like stray dogs ! People of all ages from young teens to the very elderly are attacked, murdered, robbed and raped on a regular basis all over the country ! Armies of gypsies and irish travelers park their caravans (travel trailers wherever and whenever they please in defiance of ANY laws and to the understandable IRE of the locals...then convert the areas into trash heaps and provoke trouble with those who have worked hard to settle there !

Hordes of undesirable losers waiting to get into Britain and bring their horrible, criminal ways with them !

The blame has to be laced on the shoulders of the USELESS British police who have looooong allowed hooligans and exteremely dangerous gang and criminal wannabes,etc,etc,etc, to rampage freely on Britain's streets and establish a knife culture across the land ! Every day, just about, another innocent person gets a shaft plunged into their bodies and more often than not the screwed up minds of the perpetrators capture the scene on their phones, or the ones they stole from their victims then gleefully post it on you tube as if they have performed some great, courageous deed ! British gangs emulate their American ghetto and barrio scumbags...they watch the rappers on MTV and the movies like 50 cents " Get rich or die trying "and as a result have brought NIGHTMARISH hell and destruction all over Britain

crims. enjoy visiting the courts where Santa

resides, sympathizes with them and then rewards rather than

punishes them !

British chief constables are an overpaid bunch of loafers...some have even admitted this publicly, they get paid more than the prime minister and many company execs...for doing LITTLE or NOTHING about the uk's crime ! This is why Theresa may through exasperation wants to import Bratton and what a terrific idea that is ! He will bring LAPD methods and policies to Britain and boy will the gangs and hardened criminals find their match then ! This is presuming that the Government, courts and EU don't interfere and that he has a FREE hand to CLEAN BRITAIN's scum of the streets ! The sooner it happens the happier the British people will be and they will feel free to walk their streets safely gain !

LAPD tactics work, unlike the British cops they patrol everywhere regularly, these are really TOUGH street cops and they are not afraid of ANYONE or ANYTHING...they HATE crime and criminas, especially violent ones and they hunt them down, harrass them off the streets 24/7 and lock em up in cages where the filth of humanity belongs !
Bill Bratton is an amazing police chief and Britain should be VERY happy if he takes over !
