    Will Twihards warm up to Warm Bodies?

    Warm Bodies opens Friday February 1st the big question for Summit Entertainment is will the diehard Twilight fans come out to see their new paranormal romance Warm Bodies? Summit built its name on the Twilight franchise, and I’m sure they are wondering can lightning strike twice with a paranormal romance?

     

    Warm Bodies is a Romeo and Juliet style story. R (Nicholas Hoult) is a zombie and Julie (Teresa Palmer) is a human whose father (John Malkovich) is not happy with her new zombie boyfriend. Julie see’s the changes that are happening to R and tries to convince the humans that the zombies can be cured.

     

    The question is will the romance between a human and zombie be as romantic, and glamour’s as a romance between a vampire and human? Twilight’s leading male was a vampire named Edward Cullen who sparkled like diamonds in the sun. Will teen girls have the same heartthrob feelings for R who’s a zombie with blood dripping down his face?

     

    Warm Bodies opens February1st. Some theaters have 10pm showings January 31st.
