    Moon dog over Iowa City

    At around midnight 02/01/2012 I took a picture of moon dog phenomena just outside Iowa City, Iowa. The temperature was extremely cold at around 1F (-17F windchill) and humidity at 66%. The mood dog phenomena could be seen in Iowa City but the halo around the moon was more complete when I drove outside the city limits.
