Relief Supplies Airlifted to Aid Families Stranded by Floods in Mozambique
Today our Samaritan's Purse team on the ground spent 9 hours loading this helicopter sling full of relief supplies for families stranded by severe flooding in the Gaza province since mid-January. It took the pilot 7 minutes to make a run, drop the supplies, and come back for more. We kept loading the helicopter as many times as we could keeping our eye on the fuel. The long poles will be used by families to make temporary shelter. Many of them lost everything they had when the flooding occurred.
