wounded warrior project refuses money from Baptist school

I am writing to you because I feel this issue should be addressed. My daughters go to Liberty Baptist Academy in Ft. Pierce, FL and they were very excited last week when they were told they were going to be raising money for the soldiers that have kept us safe. My 6 year old came home and said " Momma we need to collect money to send to the soldiers that have gotten hurt keeping us free!" The girls decided they were going to collect their own money and turn it in to class to send in to the Wounded Warrior Project. My niece and nephew who also go to LBA were collected their own money as well. Within 2 days my niece Ella already rolled over $100 in coins to donate. Yesterday another letter was sent home stating they will not be raising money for the WWP they are refusing our money because we are "religious in nature". My daughters were so upset and can't understand why they won't take our money? They have been taught how veterans put there life on the line to keep our freedom and now they are confused in how they can't send this group money. I feel this story needs to be told. I have attached the two letter that were sent home from LBA. If you go on facebook and go under Wounded Warrior Project you will see the other families from Liberty Baptist Academy that has posted similar concerns.
