Markovic: If the Serbian government does not allow broadcasting, we give foreign television material (Interview)

Belgrade - Serbian RBA (Radio Broadcasting Agency) banned the broadcast of a scandalous video in which he stated that, the head of the Serbian government reproach and ridicule in the local public and the world community. The authors' intention was not to be ridiculed Serbia and its Prime Minister, but to make the show interesting is that judging by the comments of the Serbian public accepted in society and in its exclusive broadcast of the entire nation is waiting for, but unfortunately, that will not happen because the state and not the top want to have that video, found on a private site "mission Impossible"

The video clip shows aka announcement in two days reviewing almost 4th million viewers, which predicts a really big craze for this show, and according to research by CNN Serbian is "struggling" to independent media and freedom of expression, which in this case is before the eyes of world public opinion itself denied.

We contacted the author of this issue, Goran Markovic and asked him to assess his point of view with what is actually the cause of this issue by stopping next to Serbian citizens and wants all of Europe. A slot will reveal, how he came up with the idea to "catch" the Prime Minister in his trap and what he thinks about the RBA's decision and that, if you will, however, be resolved on their own to let the controversial clip on the internet.

    Interwiew for CNN iReport
interviewee: Goran Markovic author of "Nemoguca misija/mission Impossible"

What do you think about the freedom of the media that your country is over-exposed?

Goran Markovic: First of all, Radio Broadcasting Agency (RRA) does not have any authority over websites, so, they are not competent/ authorized to deal with this subject. In that meter, recommendation of Serbian Broadcasting Agency (RRA) is out of our sight and interest. They are government servants, as they have ever been. Broadcast of hidden camera show NEMOGUCA MISIJA/ Mission Impossible wasn't prohibited by Serbia as Republic, but incompetent adviser of PM Dacic, Ivica Toncev. He put pressure and threatened to our production, so we do not broadcast show. However, this situation best shows what advisers Serbian PM choose.

Are you satisfied with the success of shows, although an announcement released to the public?

Goran Markovic: You could find everything in Serbia, everything except freedom of press! In country ruled by fear and chaos, where journalist have auto censure, where media representatives, literally begging Government Public Companies to advertise on their media, in that kind of country we could not speak about freedom of media. Ban of our show is one more confirmation of that.

Are you satisfied with the success of shows, although an announcement released to the public?

Goran Markovic: We are very satisfied with success of video clip. Almost 5.000.000 people seen it around the Globe in just two days. We are having calls from all around the world and offers for joint projects and coproduction's. Everyone in the world recognized courage, innovation and great ideas of our production team NEMOGUCA MISIJA, everyone except our country. We have call and offer for coproduction to ''catch'' Prime Minister and one President, from two EU countries.

Do you think that this issue you just raised the average prime minister, and not to have it transferred to spoil your media?

Goran Markovic: We did tremendously raise rating to PM Dacic, but that wasn't our aim, because we are not in his PR team. Claim that PM Dacic reputation was disturbed by this show is coming from ex construction builder, betting owner and now his adviser Ivica Toncev. Never the less, this is understandable, if we assume that his media understanding, rating knowledge and largeness are in accordance with his professional occupation before his job in Dacic Cabinet.

What will happen with the video show?

Goran Markovic: We are proud on our 40 minutes show, where we demonstrate that if you have courage good organisation and knowledge, everything is possible, even that Prime Minister could be an ''victim'' of hidden camera. It's a shame that PM Dacic, under the pressure of his adviser Toncev, prohibited broadcasting, and with this action, he denied his formal commitment for press freedom and European values in general. In couple of days we will contact International organisation for human rights and media rights, and with coordination with them , we will decide what we shall do.

If you can not broadcast in Serbia, could you gave CNN or some foreign television broadcast that would love your material?

Goran Markovic: Everyone on the Globe, who is dealing with any video and tv production, especially from journalism point of view , would be proud if CNN broadcast his video, so are we.
