The Historic Grand Central Terminal
The Grand Central Terminal, known as one of the most iconic buildings in New York, one of the greatest transportation hubs in America, and one of the famous train terminals in the world, celebrates its centennial anniversary.
The celebration kicks of today with a full day of activities, including the opening of a six-week exhibit “Grand by Design.” The exhibit showcases the history and impact of Grand Central Terminal. The grand centennial celebration continues throughout the year with a variety of events.
Grand Central terminal draws thousands of tourists and local commuters every day. It has shops, restaurants, a gourmet market, and offers tour programs making it a famous destination in New York.
