NAVY BUDGET CUTS - IT BEGINS
This month, the NAVY announced budget cuts which will effect thousands in the tidewater area. It has begun. I work for a small business DoD contractor in Norfolk VA. We provide Technical/ Engineering services. I have seen our office go from a packed parking lot to an empty parking lot within the last 2 weeks.
Amazing how cuts start at home but not overseas where contractors make 200-300K a year doing the same work I do. The folks I know who are overseas are not out in the field and in my opinion, over paid for the job they do. They call it easy money.
