This iReport is part of an assignment:
Groundhog Day: Find your shadow! |
Shadows seen, just barely
I had big plans for this project; it has been beautiful lately and I have been riding my motorcycle in a t-shirt this past week, I should be able to get some great shadow photos today. Or so I thought.
When I went to bed last night I planned on taking photos of my friend as I as we rode our Harley's up the 405 or along the 118. Weather was not cooperating; well, the sun was not anyway.
When I took the dogs for their morning walk I could see the potential for issues taking shadow photos. It was quite overcast, and I cam e to the realization that short dogs do not cast very long shadows.
The photos include Buddy (who has appeared on CNN a time or two) and Hershey, the miniature long-haired Dachshund.
The lack of shadows is somewhat appropriate as today is first Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day for patients with Rheumatoid Disease, previously known as Rheumatoid Arthritis, as there is a lack of understanding about this disease. Please visit http://rheum4us.org/ for more information on this crippling disease.
