Superbowl Sunday Blues
One individual in particular did not have a good day yesterday.
On January 30, 2013, Butte County Sheriff’s Officer, Deputy Meyer, spotted an individual he thought was a wanted felon. He attempted to make contact with the man, Ryan Blinston, 29, and Blinston allegedly fled the area.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office received information from an anonymous caller that Blinston was at a residence in the Oroville area. According to a press release, deputies along with several local agencies responded to the residence and set up a perimeter.
Deputies entered the residence and apprehended Blinston without incident. Blinston was transported to and booked into the Butte County Jail on a no bail felony warrant. He was also booked on fresh charges for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property.
