    New Zealand Glacial Waters

I recently spent two weeks traveling throughout the back country of New Zealand. Upon hitting the ground after 24 hours of flying to get to Christchurch, I met up with a friend and drove an additional 3.5 hours down to the Mount Cook area. We then hit the trail for a nice long hike back toward the Tasman Glacier. As sun set, the sky began to glow with color. I spent a couple of hours taking photos. The peak colors hit the clouds just prior to sunset which was nearing 9:30 pm, which made for a nice trek to our camp site with headlamps lighting the way.
