Weekends in America |
Black History Month Parade & Fair
This weekend Anaheim, Ca held a Black History Month Parade and Fair in downtown Anaheim. The "Dream" contributor was Disneyland, along with many other contributors. I attended with my daughter's family. There were marching bands, youth groups, prancing horses, motorcycles, Oakland Raider SUV's and even the Fire Dept. was in the parade.
Balloons were given away to the children. There were food vendors, healthcare vendors, travel vendors you name it it was there.
Free entertainment included bands, singers and trivia.
Quite a few games with prizes to be had. Almost everything was free and a good time was had by all including my 3 yr. old granddaughter (last picture).
