The pope is ultimately responsible and he has the POWER to do something about it but it is...unlikely !

Boy Scouts helped alleged molesters cover tracks, files show
When volunteers and employees were suspected of sexually abusing children, Boy Scout officials often didn't tell police, files from 1970-91 reveal. In many cases they sought to hide the situation.

Assistant troop leader William Lazzareschi was expelled from the Scouts after he admitted engaging in a sex act with a boy, according to one file. But nothing in the file indicates the Scouts called police.

over two decades, the Boy Scouts of America failed to report hundreds of alleged child molesters to police and often hid the allegations from parents and the public.

A Los Angeles Times review of 1,600 confidential files dating from 1970 to 1991 has found that Scouting officials frequently urged admitted offenders to quietly resign — and helped many cover their tracks.

But while gays and lesbians applauded the Girl Scouts' position, some questioned whether the group needed to reiterate it. The announcement suggests the Girl Scouts may be worried that "people will see them as a recruiter of lesbians,"

And it's NOT just the priesthood in schools, people who sell ice creams to kids,in fact anywhere children might be OUT of their parents sight ! Boy and girl scouts (there are lots of lesbian molesters out there too including nuns don't kid yourself) summer camps.....there is NO such thing as a SAFE place when it comes to children !

The pedophile mixed Ambien and other sedatives into ice cream, and held ice cream eating contests with young girls as the contestants. He then went on to videotape them while unconscious, at times taping more than one victim at a time.
