    The Heart of Beauty

    This is a video about the MacPherson family; Christine, Michael and Mikey. Mikey is five years old and was diagnosed with Autism shortly before his second birthday. I decided to surprise his mom, Christine, with a well deserved makeover. This is a part of a new tv series called "The Heart of Beauty." After giving birth to my daughter almost three years ago, I started hemorrhaging and almost died. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and struggled until recently to find a way to feel "normal" again. I decided to change course in my career and use my experience as inspiration to begin a quest to help everyday women who have been through life-altering circumstances put the pieces of their lives back together. This video shows 9 minutes of what was around 12-15 hours of filming.I hope to have the opportunity to put the REAL back into Reality Television and make a difference in the lives of others who have experienced a traumatic experience.
