    Foggy Atlanta Morning

    Winter weather? Sure, but a little better in ATL.

    I had a flight on Delta from Greensboro, NC to connect in Atlanta this morning. I always enjoy seeing the world and the weather from above at least when it is not a white-out.

    Approaching Atlanta we saw downtown breaking the fog and Kennesaw Mountain in the distance. The fog was so low this morning that everything over a few hundred feet looked like little islands.

    This was around 7:30 AM EST so it is still a bit dark.
