    Travel photo of the day

    Fire over the Pacific Ocean

For the last 2+ years we have traveled the world, taking in as many sunrises and sunsets as possible. This particular night, in Barra de Navidad, Mexico, we were treated to a sky the color of fire. For over an hour the sky changed from pink to red to orange, each more dazzling than the last. The high point was the moment the sky ignited the water beneath it into this cauldron of roiling lava. It was one of the most spectacular sunsets we've seen and a true joy to have witnessed.
