    BSA:Culture of discrimination

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     TylerStocks told me, '“I want to see that all Americans are treated equal without regard to sexual identity. I have gay and lesbian friends who are great people and great leaders. For children to be taught to treat non-heterosexuals as inferior is outrageous. There is no integrity and honor in that.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

It's time to end the discriminating culture in the Boy Scouts of America. Hate is not a core value. An individuals' sexuality has nothing to do with their character or capacity to lead. All are created equal.

    11:59 am update:

BSA chooses to delay voting until conference that will be held in May.

It is beyond me why BSA considers the decision on whether or not to ban GBLT leaders and scouts, a complex issue.

Perhaps the issue is complex because it tears down the walls of discrimination that have existed throughout BSA history.
