    Cow Rescued from cave.

On Monday afternoon members of the Putnam County Rescue Squad freed a 500 pound bull calf from a 20 foot vertical cave where it had been trapped for over two weeks. A make shift harness was created from a two inch car towing strap and a piece of fire hose. The harness was placed around the cows chest and he was lifted using a pulley system and hydraulic lift on a farm tractor. The calf is doing great. The rescue took place near Buffalo Valley Tennessee.
