    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     trevoo says he went on a surf exploration trip with his friends while trying to escape the harsh winter in the Northeast. What stood out to him about this beach? "The thick jungle that encroached right to the water's edge," he says. "Not to mention the air temperature and water quality."
