The war through your eyes: Iraq 10 years on

    Veterans Point of View

I am an Iraq veteran and was part of the first wave of soldiers to enter the country in 2003. I feel as though we had a reason to be there even if there were no WMD discovered. The children and people of Iraq were ruled over by a tyrant and deserved to be liberated. Looking into the eyes of children on the streets of Iraq I understood my place, it was to give these kids the same chances all of the kids in America get everyday. The chance to live a happy FREE life without worrying about the actions of a tyrant ruler. I respect my place as a soldier and I know we did the right thing in IRAQ. Rangers Lead the Way!!
