New Yorkers Have Sandy still on their minds.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     joshfromny1 captured images of people preparing for the northeastern blizzard on the evening of February 7 in West Hempstead, New York. He says he went to the grocery stores to see people buying essential food items, like canned foods, bread, water, and lining up to buy gas. But he says many people seem disheartened by another storm. 'Many people still have Sandy and Athena on their minds and many New Yorkers still haven't even fixed their homes after Sandy,' he said. He says even he is preparing for the storm, stocking up on gas, water and food.

This iReport was featured in the February iReport for CNN program on CNN International.

As the Northeast are hours away from what can be a historic blizzard. lines to gas stations start forming and supermarket shelves start emptying giving us flashbacks to just 4 months ago with Sandy and Athena.
