Gun control debate: Background checks |
Neighborhood in distress
There is at least one neighborhood located in West Palm Beach, Fl that wishes to express their concerns for our country in a very controversial way.
Talking with some of the residents they feel that our current economic and political positions are putting their homes in dire emergency. There are 7 houses in this small neighborhood and 5 have recently purchased flag poles and various flags just to display them in the visual protest.
One resident says that with with Obamas constant attack on our basic constitutional rights, his children will never know America the way it should be.
These 5 residents are standing tall on the gun control issue. Each one feels there is a unprovoked attack against their right and believe the higher government and mass media are not giving this right its due respect or a fair shot.
Watch the neighbors comments here:
"Their actions are an emotional response to a tragedy, without using critical thinking based on the facts. Simply pushing and issue forward is an adolescent and illogical response."
One thing is for sure is this form of visual protest is going to stir up different emotions from various groups across our country. One resident, a combat verteran, when asked if he feels flying the flag upside down, as he does, is a show of disrespect, he responded " No I find the total lack of respect for the American people to be a disrespect, the total sham and out right injustice this administration is doing to the future of my children, your children and children we do not even know. Our flags will fly until the Office is changed."
