Have you had an abortion? |
Washing this stain
As you may know, Tuesday, Jan. 22 marked the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, 410 US 113, (1973). The decision passed down made it legal for every woman in the US to choose to end the life of her unborn baby.
Since Jan. 22, 1973 legal homicide has cost our nation the loss of over 56 million precious gifts from our Lord and Savior; one being my own daughter in 1990.
Far from a "political" issue or a "women's rights" issue.........this is simply the issue of devaluing a human life. Just as the Holocaust and slavery in America were brought to an end, this too needs to end. All humans have been created equally in His image, not in our own understanding of what deems a person valuable.
We all know that at the point of our own conception, each one of us became alive. We didn't transform into a live being at some objective time after.
Please stand with me in prayer for our nation to turn away from this darkness and to seek the face of our own Creator with all that we are, in Him, with repentant and broken hearts; that He may forgive us and wash this sin so far away from us.
Please continue to lift up our unborn babies to Him alone that can save. They desperately need Him, and they desperately need you and I to stand in unison and cry out for an end to this deep stain upon our nation.
Please consider increasing your knowledge regarding this subject matter and allowing God's grace to guide you forward.
As He tells us in Jer 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you;"
I like to image that with every fervent prayer, there is a tiny saved baby leaping for joy in a womb now filled with the Holy Spirit and hope!
In case you aren't aware, as I wasn't:
The unborn baby's heart begins to beat at just 3 weeks, and it responds to touch at 6 weeks.
After 11 weeks, nothing new develops or functions; the baby is simply growing in size and maturity!!
Please pray for these unborn, who are human in the fullest extent of the term, and help to inform others.
