    I had an abortion more than 30 yrs. ago. In the wake of it, I became addicted to prescription medications/alcohol (I'm sober now for 12 years).
    I knew quite clearly that I was murdering an innocent human being but I did this anyway, for 'convenience'. In so doing I killed the best of myself. It took many, many years for me to repent of this and even begin to reclaim my heart and mind...
    I've met many other women like myself who-in the wake of their abortion-had my identical experience. It could not be otherwise. A baby is just that, a baby, and its first line of defense is its mother. If she tramples her own overwhelming love and protectiveness towards her own child, both she, and her child, are destroyed.
