    City Children Flounder in Record Snow

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cassandraday Woke up this morning to sounds which she thought were cries for help, but instead found this gleeful image outside her window. She couldn't help but observe the children floundering through the deep snow. Middletown is said to have been hit by at least 30 inches of snow. Cassandra says that watching this unfold was a 'joyful Saturday morning sight after being holed up all night.'

    I opened my back door this morning to please of, "help! help!" certain there was an emergency unfolding, but instead found three children yelping and crawling through the snow in the parking lot below. It was a joyful Saturday morning sight after being holed up in an apartment all night! We easily have 30 inches of snow here in downtown Middletown.
