Revere Guest House Provincetown Cape Cod

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Gary Palochko photographed the backyard of his bed and breakfast in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on February 9, which is sits empty because all the guest canceled their reservations because of the northeastern blizzard. He says he has been out of power since 8 p.m. the night before, but is keeping his bed and breakfast warm by lighting multiple fireplaces that are in the building. He says this blizzard was unlike any storm he experienced in a long time. 'Here at Cape Cod we have warmer waters so we mostly get rain. But we got well over two feet of snow, and because of the high winds of Cape Cod, the snow is drifting and piling up into mounds,' he said. 'Cape Cod usually doesn't get this kind of snow, and this is quite a lot.'
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Snowed in and without power since last night here at the tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown. Have 6 fireplaces going to keep Inn warm and my collection of old hurricane lamps for light.
