    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     neslyn says she was in St. Maarten with her husband for the Columbus Day weekend in 2011. She enjoyed the beach because of its "beautiful turquoise-blue waters and how tranquil the water was was every single day."

    A short 40-minute flight from home lands us in beautiful relaxing St. Maarten, where we spent Columbus Day weekend. The picture was taken while we jet-skied in Great Bay, Philipsburg.
