    Digging Out in Southern Connecticut

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     HilaryCoons and her husband were well prepared for their first Connecticut snow. After losing power for 9 days from Sandy, they stocked up at the stores expecting a similar outage. Luckily the power stayed, though they weren't expecting to spend over 2 hours clearing off a snow-laden balcony. She feels her picture says it all since her husband 'is over 6 feet tall and the snow is up to his waist.' She reports her husband 'shoveled the driveway before we went to bed and we woke up to over 3 feet of snow! There is still a lot more of cleaning up to go, but we'll get there!'
    - Christi, CNN iReport producer

Over 3 feet of snow is covering most of our neighborhood in Stratford, Connecticut, with drifts over 4 feet. We've been digging out all morning!
