    Boston Aftermath

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mikeirving is a student at Boston University and decided to venture the streets of Boston after a massive blizzard poured more than three inches of snow in his area on February 9. He walked down a few blocks and saw people also checking out the scene outside. But overall, he says the city seemed disconsolate after the blizzard receded. 'It looked like an abandoned city with no cars on the road except for government vehicles,' he said. He says he now plans to dig out his car, 'which is under a six foot drift of snow,' he said. 'It should get pretty interesting.'

I went out around 12:00PM today to shoot some photos. At first, the streets were empty, but soon after around 1:00PM they began to flourish with people. I'm over 6 feet tall and was up to my waist in snow in some of these shots.
