Pollution and Poor Air Quality Is Here In The USA, Too.
This community is dependent on the Federal Funds and would probably never ask this question no matter how much harm is caused.
Please shutdown these Military base smoke stacks. This area of Bremerton, WA does not have enough wind to clear out any smoke from that stack. The pollution just falls back on to the neighborhood that surrounds the base. Smoke stacks(in general) are known to increase risks, to the neighborhood around the smoke stack, for birth defects and chronic breathing illnesses. Smoke stacks also lowers the property value around it too. Please stop punishing the poor and the people too weak to speak for themselves. Please start shutting down these smoke stacks and start using alternative sources of energy and waste disposal.
