    La Jolla Underwater Park

La Jolla is the jewel of San Diego. The beach stretches with a winding trail so walkers or joggers can breath in the ocean air. Little green houses are inter-spaced for a nice place to take a photo or read a good book. The land was set aside as a nature preserve so animals and sea life are protected.

I have fond memories of my two sons jumping the waves at Children's Cove. They discovered star fish in the tide pools waiting to be discovered. They watched pelicans as they gobbled fish. The seals took over the beaches. Its fun to watch them wiggle and bath in the sun.

La Jolla is the best beach because it is open to the public for free. People have been enjoying the scenery for many generations. The fish and animals are happy because they are protected. Snorkelers and Scuba Divers can see the fish face to face. If you are lucky you can spot a whale.
