    KOPINO (Korean-Filipino) Baptism

Parents and Godparents welcomes Soo Jin (Name of the Baby) in the Christian World during the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord last January 13, 2013 at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, Cebu City.

After the Priest officiated the Baptism rites, we gamely lined up in front of the altar for a souvenir photo.

As accustomed, godparents (Ninong and Ninang) are expected to act as a second parents to the child.

In the Philippines, godparents give gifts to the child especially during Christmas, birthdays and graduation.
