    Have you had an abortion?

    Lifelong side effects

I was forced into having an abortion when I was very young by the guy I was dating and his mother. They tried to convince me that it wasn't even a baby at that stage but it was a baby. It was real and it was a part of me. The decision that was made for me hurt so much and caused so much secret shame while I was in school.
It caused lifelong side effects such as ovarian cysts, scarring inside, and later in life when I tried to get pregnant it took my husband and I a very long time. With our last attempt the pregnancy resulted in a tubal pregnancy which almost killed me. Then a massive tumor developed in that same area and that forced me into a hysterectomy, then my organs dropped and had to be held together by surgical mesh. I keep getting repeated hernias and no end to the surgeries I have had and will have to continue having because of the abortion before my body was mature enough. If I could tell even one young lady to not do it I would feel so happy because the problem you might try to solve now by getting an abortion will come back as a critical health problem much later in life such as ovarian cancer or cervical cancer.
