President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave a speech at the end of the annually held rally to mark the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. He mentioned the advances of the country in medicine and technology, stressing that," Despite sanctions, you can see progress in exports during the previous years." He also noted," Iranian nation has achieved nuclear energy and our enemies are upset." He added," Iran is ready to negotiate with the Western governments but it must be done based on justice not sanctions." Iranian president said that if our enemies reduced the sanctions and called for negotiation, he himself would go for the talk.
Saying that people are under pressure in terms of finance, he noted," We are trying our best to solve the problems." At the end of his speech, Ahmadinejad mentioned the up coming presidential election. He said that all people should participate to gain the majority of the voters.
