    Northeast blizzard: Your stories

eriksh77 and 14 other iReporters contributed to Open Story: Massive blizzard slams Northeast

    Blizzard impassable roads

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     eriksh77 says after the northeast blizzard receded, several inches of snow made it difficult to leave his home in Hamden, Connecticut. '[This was] absolutely the biggest storm I have experienced in my life,' he said. He says with more than three feet of snow covering the ground on February 10, driving was not an option, and it was too hard to walk outside. He says as of February 11, there is still no progress in clearing the roads in his neighborhood. 'We still cannot leave the house... It is a dangerous situation if anybody in their neighborhood needs emergency care,' he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Nobody can leave their house as the roads are still impassable with more than 3ft of snow.
