    Snowed in after Blizzard 2013

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     marcusharun told me, 'Things have been very crazy around here the last few days. I live in the town with the most snowfall from the blizzard-- 40 inches of snow, according to the NWS. We've got 40 inches of snow easily in the middle of my street! We are used to snow here in Connecticut, but nothing ever like this! '
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

I am still trapped in my home after Friday's Blizzard; over three feet of snow in the middle of all local streets prevent traffic from driving through.

Days after 40 inches of snow fell in Hamden, CT, I ventured out (by foot) with my brother, Eunes Harun, to see the condition of the roads.

The snow is leg deep in the middle of my street, the closest major road is also untouched. There are no tire tracks, and the only footprints within two blocks are my family's.

About two blocks away we found three cars stuck in the middle of the street because they tried to drive on the unplowed roads.

Some people shoveled their driveways, but they can't leave the edge of their driveway.

We walked one mile without seeing any pavement.
