    1974 one yr after Roe v Wade

    I had an abortion because my OB/GYN gave me a drug and failed to mention that, by taking this drug, I might get pregnant and the fetus would have MULTIPLE life threatening complications...When I did get pregnant, all the Doctor could say was oops...it's still a 50/50 chance the fetus would be ok. Some odds. I had the abortion at 8 weeks and while I still remember the humiliating conditions at the hospital, I do not and will never regret it. One year after Roe v Wade saved me from dying in a back alley somewhere.
