A positive life changing experience
I am so grateful that I was able to choose to end my unintended pregnancy. I was confident about my decision, I was well supported, and I was empowered by my experience. Having an abortion allowed me to continue growing up, it allowed me to go to college, work in a field that I love, and go on to become the parent of a very wanted an loved child when the time was right. I am grateful that I was not forced to continue my pregnancy against my will and birth a child that I did not want to parent who would have been just another child "in the system." A society that forces women to bear children against their will is a society that enslaves women. I have never regretted my decision to end my pregnancy, and I feel gratitude every time I look at my daughter, who is happy and healthy and well cared for, that I had a choice.
