Milford, CT - Cabin fever starts to set in

After the blizzard dumped 38" on my town, cabin fever slowly started to take it's toll. Our street was totally impassable and any ventures out was by foot. Sunday was a 2.6 mile stroll to pick up milk. By Monday afternoon my 16 year old son had enough. While I telecommuted, he attacked the street - armed with a snow-blower and several gas cans. As he forced his way down, a few neighbors joined him. 5 hours and 1,200 feet later they were complete. There was a single lane from my house to the end of the street. Freedom at last. Ironically, just as they finished a pay-loader and plow appeared.
