Catholics: Your views on new pope

    What's the Big Deal?

The papacy which has been around for two millennia, has only had one resignation (up until now). The current pope is said to have urged Pope John Paul II to resign due to illness and old age. That pope declined (which was his right). This pope makes it clear by his own resignation that a bright and healthy pope is needed to run a worldwide church of a billion Catholics. Is there some way we can accept and handle this???
