    Armageddon 2013?

Saint Malachy was the first Irish saint and was named Archbishop of Armagh in 1132. Malachy was summoned to Rome by then Pope Innocent II. While in Rome, Malachy had visions of 112 future Popes and the titles they would have. The vision started with Celestine II "From a Castle of the TIber," to Benedict XVI -who will retire this month- being the "111 Glory of the olive." Following Benedict is the unknown, and for some a frightful time as the reign of Peter the Roman will begin. Peter the Roman is the "Pope" that will nourish the sheep in many tribulations, and will be the one sitting as Pontiff when Vatican City and Rome are destroyed. It is debated whether or not Petrus Romanus was in the original prophecy by Saint Malachy or if it was another Nostradamus prophecy, either way this is clearly the new Armageddon 2013. After the Mayan hype that has engulfed the world for the past few years came and went. Then the world quckly moved away from the asteroid that will miss Earth by 15 minutes, when we enter the month of March we will undoubtedly start the hype of the "coming apocalypse." Most Martin Luther doctrine readers will quote Matthew 24:36, "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." However this plays out, we as humans are obsessed with our own mortality and will contrinue looking for the next day not the last.
