Travel snapshots: The best beaches |
Goa - off-season, all pleasing!
No matter what time of the year you visit Goa, the state is bound to be hounded by tourists. Yet, a few months ago, we landed there to find that there were hardly any tourists. It was just after the monsoon, and resorts were still empty. The beaches by Candolim were not crowded at all, and we didn't see anyone expect for a few families now and then. For once, we enjoyed walking along an endless stretch without being bothered by vendors, hooligans or boys playing ball. It was lovely getting to see Goa's softer, quieter side.
