Chocolate Kiwis with Orange Sauce
Adapted from Betty Crocker’s Fix-It-Fast Family
This elegant, unique dessert is a cinch to make. Whip it up even faster by substituting ready made chocolate syrup for the chocolate chips and shortening. Get home cooking recipes here.
Ingredients
½ cup vanilla yogurt (or plain yogurt)
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate, partially thawed
4 kiwis, skins removed and cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening
Preparation Instructions
In a bowl, blend together the yogurt and juice concentrate. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto each dessert dish. Lay the slices from 1 kiwi on top of this.
In a saucepan placed over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and shortening, stirring constantly. When chocolate is melted, spoon the mixture over the kiwis.
