Carnival Triumph’s nightmare |
Instagrams from @chasemaclaskey
(2) Mike watching the first tugboat setting up to pull us. They opened a free bar for us that night then promptly shut it down when the power went completely out two hours later. Whoops! Can you say pr fiasco potential? ;) #carnivalcruise #carnivaltriumph
(3) One of several power outlets daisy chained for people to charge phones. People waited hours for a chance to charge the last few days. Hello, fire hazard! #carnivalcruise #carnivaltriumph
(4) One of two tugboats pulling us through the channel to Mobile, Alabama along with a channel guide boat #carnivalcruise #carnivaltriumph
(5) Sleeping quarters on the muster station deck (where life boats are) lots of families moved out here early on in fear of unknown circumstances. Until moving, the boat had a severe list to one side. I personally had a panic attack on Sunday evening. There was a lot they waited a long time to share with the passengers so we had no idea what to expect. #carnivalcruise #carnivaltriumph
(6) Stacks of mattresses and pillows in an elevator landing. Every elevator landing was full of people sleeping until this afternoon. It smells musty in parts and human waste in others. #carnivalcruise #carnivaltriumph
