IAEA call to visit Parchin military site
A senior Iranian lawmaker says the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has asked to visit Iran’s Parchin military site. However, he says that this measure is not lawful, Press TV reported on Friday.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of Iran’s Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, said that the country's activities are based on NPT rules. Iran is not supposed to open its military sites to theIAEA inspectors.
He further mentioned that the IAEA should not make its reports politicized
Iran says the IAEA inspectors have conducted numerous inspections of its nuclear facilities, but have invariably failed to find any evidence showing diversion in the Iranian nuclear energy program toward military objectives.
