    One Billion Rising San Francisco

    On February 14, 2013 San Francisco held its One Billion Rising event on the steps of City Hall. This event also took place in other cities around the world, but SF is ground zero because the elected Sheriff allegedly committed domestic violence against his wife. Those in attendance at City Hall included DA Gascon and his wife, Mayor Ed Lee, the Board of Supervisors plus many advocates and speakers.
