Last chance
Crowd gathered in the center of Budapest, Hungary near a government building to demonstrate against foreign currency lending practices of the banks. In the last years due to these unfair business practices , thousands of families lost their homes and tens of thousands more are threatened by evictions despite of paying their share but cannot follow the increasing costs. Monthly rate hikes, passing on costs, unilateral contract amendments led these people to the streets. This is maybe the last intent try to stop this process, but anything can happen. At the end of the event more than 500 (!) black balloons released to commemorate the people who committed suicide for the loan-trap.
We all see, that our government dropped the people to the financial circles for their power, the strongly censored state media is silent, only independent press organizations tell about this event.
Lawsuits had begun, but courts supervised by political appointees are incapable of decisions, people in lawsuit companies are on a wait for positive decision or the eviction injunction.
May God bless these people who strong enough to face the scary enemies in these cold February day.
Let it be a warning, Christopher Paolini said : "The greatest enemy is one that has nothing to lose."
