DES Info: Causes of the DES Tragedy:

DES Info: Causes of the DES Tragedy: #keepinglillyhonest

The word "cause" is a funny word. If you shoot a bullet in your head, it causes you a headache. When it comes to the drugs and all the other risk factors that are involved, you don't get a direct cause, what you get is like a drunk driver, it increases the risk of the people in the zone.

You don't know what they're going to do, you don't know who they're going to hit, but you know the risk of somebody getting hit is higher, and the law says you increase the risk unfairly, you break the law speeding or not watching the light, they you pay for someone even though you didn't know you were going to hit them.

Naturally, Lilly didn't know they were going to cause cancer in these women 50 years ago, but Lilly, like the drunk driver, went out and drove this drug from nowhere up to millions of women increasing the dosage hundreds of time without a test.

DES Daughters call this negligence and we are still awaiting an apology!
