A 40-yr old family man, community advocate, and unjust violence spokes person was killed while trying to break up an argument. This happened in Brevard County, Florida in the city of Melbourne which has faced an influx of gun violence. Jean Francois was an advocate who supported togetherness in the community putting on fundraisers and speaking to young men about being better fathers primarily focusing on the African-American population. Some of his latest works would've included his involvement with the Guns Down Thumbs Up Campaign.
